was a Buddhist temple in the Mitake neighborhood of the city of Saito, Miyazaki, Japan. It was one of the provincial temples established by Emperor Shōmu during the Nara period (710 – 794). The temple was abandoned in 1871, but previous to this had belonged to the Shingon sect. Its ruins were designated as a National Historic Site in 1957. Read more on Wikipedia
