Fort Apollonia is a fort in Beyin, Ghana. The name Apollonia was given to the area by a Portuguese explorer who sighted the place on the Feast of Saint Apollonia, 9 February."Fort Apollonia, Beyin" , Forts & Castles, Ghana Place Names.
